This weeks Sunday Rescue features Jane Hoffman, President of Mayors Alliance for NYC Animals. The Mayors Alliance is a coalition of over 150 pet shelters and rescues in New York City working together to make NYC shelters kill free. This organization is 100% non-profit and not funded by any governement agency. By working together and with Maddies Fund, they have dramatically reduced euthanasia in NYC through effective and innovative programs and removing animals from Animal control pounds to find homes. Jane will share with us their history, what they have accomplished, and where they are going in the future.
